Clubs taking part in the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) provincial league want the Government to declare the way forward on the management of the sport.
More than 150 clubs meeting at Charter Hall yesterday have also demanded a meeting with Prime Minister Raila Odinga next week.
Nick Mwendwa, who was speaking on behalf of the clubs said they want to take part in one league as they are tired of the constant wrangles and divisions in the management of football.
"We say enough is enough and want a clear way forward. We are tired of being tossed from KFF and Football Kenya," he said.
He also asked Football Kenya to explain to them how they can be incorporated in the company were they to decide to work with them.
"FKL is a private company while all the clubs are associations. We are wondering how we will be accommodated in the company," said Mwendwa.
Contacted, FKL third vice-chairman Erastus Okul asked the clubs to register in the FKL Nairobi branch league to become their members.
"We have no problem with them and don't intend to keep anybody out. They should just register for our league and follow the laid-down rules," he said.
The meeting, chaired by the branch boss Simon Mugo, was demanded by clubs who sought to know the way forward following recent Court of Arbitration for Sport ruling that Football Kenya is the bona fide body running the sport locally.
KFF had filed the suit against world governing body Fifa.
